Author of Revenant
Tristan Hughes was born in Atikokan, a small town in northern Ontario, Canada, and brought up on the Welsh island of Anglesey (Ynys Môn). He was educated at Ysgol David Hughes, and went on to study literature at the universities of York and Edinburgh, and King's College, Cambridge. He is the author of four novels, Send My Cold Bones Home, Revenant, Eye Lake and Hummingbird, as well as a collection of linked short stories, The Tower. He is a winner of the Rhys Davies short story prize and the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Award for Fiction with a Sense of Place. He is currently a senior lecturer in creative writing at Cardiff University.
